black and white
I know what’s best
just like you.
the press infects
with their words of distress
bleeding for their lies
sounds like our darkest times
bureaucrats spew hate
from their palace
behind their gate
the red and blue
make all the rules
never in their office
or on the floor
busy profiting off their selection
and ensuring reelection.
those in power choose what’s best
the information they suppress
soon, unable to protest
our words lead to our arrest.
